This guitar wiring modification shows how to wire a double pole-double throw ON/ON mini switch or push pull switch as a true bypass or active passive switch. By adding a tru bypass switch allows the sound to remain pure and noise free when the preamp is not needed as we as provides an instant On/Off feature for the active electronoics and allows the instrument to be used in the event the battery is dead. This wiring mod can be easily done with any active premap or electronics including electroncs from Bartolini, Seymour Duncan, EMG, Agular and many more.
